Biography:
K. Bhagyaraj (born January 7, 1953) is a Tamil film director, actor, writer and producer. He has starred, directed and produced several Tamil films, along with a few Telugu and Hindi films.
Bhagyaraj a Kamma Naidu from Coimbatore is married to Poornima Jayaram a Brahmin of Tamil Iyer sect. She is his co-star in the film Darling Darling. His daughter Saranya Bhagyaraj debuted in his film Parijatham. His son Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj made his debut in the film Sakkarakatti which released in 2008.
Bhagyaraj was married first to actress Praveena. She passed away in the late 1980's succumbing to an aggrevated case of jaundice.
